Shabodi is delighted to announce its partnership with the University of Ottawa (uOttawa) to pursue collaborative research on network-aware applications to support a 5G-enabled world.
The collaboration has a three-fold objective:
- Creating awareness about and building network-aware applications at scale to address real-world use cases that leverage the full potential of 5G
- Enabling more opportunities for innovation within uOttawa’s 5G research community
- Enabling more go-to-market ready network-aware applications to maximize the industry's return on investment in 5G
Under the partnership, University of Ottawa students and researchers will have access to Shabodi’s Application Enablement Platform (AEP), allowing them to experiment and create different applications for real-world industrial sector use cases. uOttawa students are a cut above the rest in 5G research and beyond. The collaboration will allow students and researchers to test their 5G innovation and knowledge in real-world scenarios. The process starts with building niche network-aware applications for several market sectors to bring their 5G use cases to life and maximize the impact of 5G’s speed and low-latency capabilities.
