Why should I invest engineering time into building around your Network-Aware AEP (Application Enablement Platform)?

Traditionally networks have always been used as simple “dumb” connectivity pipes. Advanced networks such as 5G/Wi-Fi 6/6G are more than a pipe with their: 

  • Cloud-native  
  • Modular and Service-oriented architecture

We abstract the network model from an application centric model, allowing developers to integrate with the network using simple APIs that they are already familiar with. What is new about the telecom APIs exposed through Shabodi's Network-Aware AEP?  

Exposing simple APIs to developers drives innovation through powerful applications. Here are a couple of examples: 

  • Stripe has revolutionized the payment processing process.  

  • Twilio simplified adding messaging (SMS), voice, and video call capabilities into applications and websites. Applications like Lyft/Uber use Twilio’s APIs to communicate to the end user about the driver’s location.  

In 5G, the network APIs are rich and expose network functionalities beyond messaging, voice, and video call capabilities to developers. To access such APIs and build advanced applications, developers must become telecom experts, know the standards, and orchestrate calls across multiple network functions.  

Shabodi’s Network-Aware AEP, like Twilio or Stripe platforms, provides simplified APIs for modifying complex network capabilities within the application, thereby creating advanced applications for industrial use cases.

What are the examples of new service capabilities exposed through Shabodi’s Network-Aware AEP?

Shabodi’s Network-Aware Application Enablement Platform Exposes several network service capabilities. Some examples are: 

  • Quality on Demand (Bandwidth on Demand) 
  • Requesting specific latency to deliver real-time video stream. 
  • Notification APIs when a user’s equipment moves between the cell areas 
  • Controlling the message burst rate coming from several sensors 
  • Deterministic routing
